Dave Gilden learning a new song with Dawda Jobarteh, son of the late kora legend Amadu Bansang Jobarteh.

Dowda also plays djembe and other traditional Mandinka drums and was memeber of Tata Ding Ding's "Salam" band. He now lives with his wife in Copenhagen, Denmark. I meet Dawda during my visits to The Gambia in the early 90s.
